Artisan Process
Izzy uses a flatbed knitting machine to knit row after row which creates the textured, ridge-like effect to the outer layer of these hats. A flatbed knitting machine allows Izzy to use hand knitting techniques but at greater speed.
Izzy sources reclaimed commercial yarns to create this collection, the colours in each hat do, therefore, vary slightly.
The hats are finished by sewing together with a soft and cosy polar fleece fabric to line the inside.
Due to the fantastic natural properties of the wool paired with the fleece, these hats are wonderful for keeping you warm, even in very wet weather.
