Sentences (Wabi Sabi)
Mixed Media creation taking inspiration from the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi Sabi where everything in nature and life is imperfect, impermanent or incomplete, connecting with the natural world and flowing against the tide of modern perfectionism and acceptance of transient objects.
There is no true direct western translation for Wabi Sabi as it's more of a cultural understanding however it is often referred to in the western world as seeing the beauty in aged or decay of items or decor.
This item is without any protection from glass or varnish and may therefore show evidence of aging over the years, this is intentional to respect the Wabi Sabi aesthetic.

The wet plate process due to the alchemy used is prone to creating effects unique to each individual plate which will enhance less defined images.
