The unicorn is primarily made from a decorative bone china dish, and the rainbow is made from a variety of bone china and glass.
Suitable for indoors or outdoors.

CARE: If hanging outdoors, ensure it is fixed to the wall so there is no banging or movement from the wind. To keep the mosaic looking at its best, rub in a touch of oil onto the slate to darken and make it gleam. Whilst suitable for outdoors, the maker cannot guarantee against severe frosts.

Artisan Process
Working with views over the river Earn and hills beyond, Katy is frequently inspired by this landscape, which is reflected in her mosaics. Flowers in abundance feature in much of her works.
Recycled materials inspire and stimulate many of her ideas, including broken china, where she knows the provenance of each tile, creating a traditional patchwork concept.
